Helping (poetry)

-
your arm will reach out
as your eyes will close do you notice anything
feelings? or just empty air
what do you feel?
you move your hand around
expecting someone else's hand to guide you
to guide you blindly
so when you walk you don't have to see the true struggle
of life, you can not do that anymore
you start to notice that no one can help you
that you must push your self and open your eyes
and just realize at the end of the day it is you that must get
things are done in order to live your life
you can not rely on everyone to do things for you
you must work hard on your own
and there is nothing wrong with that
being independent is such a strong and beautiful thing
you will understand that.

I will be honest today, I broke the silence with tears this morning I sipped my green tea, as I thought my life would fall before me having no escape, the only escape was death, and that to me was the easy way out I won't take it but I'll wait for it. Because I know what it's like to feel pain that never goes away It haunts me, it's always been there, and it will always stay there  Most days I wish pain was not a good friend a familiar face I can't escape, I want to leave the town where I grew up to run away from my own pain but I can't.   How to get better! Hello my loves & welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be talking about how to get better, emotionally, physically & mentally. So let's get right into it! So growing up I've dealt with depression & I've had very dark times, when I honestly wanted to end it all, (yes very dark). However, not a joke. I would get made fun of for the way I dressed, the way I talked and my weight. How kids can be so mean I'm not quite sure, but growing up you learn how to deal with things in a certain way. So I'm going to tell you some ways I handled it and dealt with myself after going through such a traumatizing state of my life. The first step to healing: So basically you want to cleanse yourself of all negativity, & have more love for yourself.
